So it is in my opinion that the kits are a little wacky. I want to share how I personally used the kits: Kit farmer (never get this one), kit police (best source of of money), kit soldier (I personally never get this on but I hate it when I get a desert falcon from a horde beacon and it's worth nothing), Kit paintball (nice vanity kit, don't really get it but it's cool that it's there), Kit starter (pretty much the best kit since it gives everything you need, food, water, xp, medical supplies, and decent amount of money if you sell the rest; just get kit police if you no longer need the supplies).
There isn't much of a balance between the kits I find so I set out to try and rework the kits. I've just now finished and wanted to share what I came up with and see what other people thought of my version of the kits. Hopefully I can get so feedback and maybe others can give some suggestions to give an even greater sense of balance to the kits.

    Kit Starter:

    300 xp

    Khaki pants

    Black t-shirt

    Chart

    Baseball bat

    Kit Soldier:

    Desert military vest

    Desert military helmet

    Black smoke x2

    GPS

    Military knife

    Kit Farmer:

    Farmer top

    Farmer bottom

    Farmer hat

    Fertilizer

    Lettuce seed x3

    Pitchfork

    Kit Police:

    Police top

    Police bottom

    Police vest

    Police cap

    Cable tie

    Doughnut

    Baton

    Kit Paintball:

    Paintball gun

    Blue paintball hopper

    Green paintball hopper

    Orange paintball hopper

    Purple paintball hopper

    Red paintball hopper

    Yellow paintball hopper

The idea is that new players can get the supplies to be able to deal with the environment but not other players right out from their spawn. They aren't given everything that they need from just one kit so they will still need to scavenge important supplies, like food and water for instance, or a weapon, or exp, it will all depend on what kit they choose every 15 minutes or so. Additionally I tried my hand at making new kits to add a greater variety to the list:

    Kit Firefighter:

    Firefighter top

    Firefighter bottom

    Firefighter helmet

    Red flare x2

    Fire axe

    Kit Worker:

    Construction top

    Work jeans

    Bottled water

    Nailgun

    Pickaxe

    Kit Medic:

    Dressing x2

    Antibiotics

    Painkillers

    Splint

    Kit Bed:

    Bedroll

So as you can see, each kit potentially has it's own situation where it is desirable for both new spawns and the veteran spawns. Lastly, if a kit was desired solely for the income it provided, I made sure that "kit paintball" was the kit that gave the highest amount of money.

So what do you guys think? Any suggestions? Questions? Insults?

I think you have a misunderstanding about my relation to their group. I'm not apart of their group per say; I play with other groups from time to time but I don't conduct raids with them or PvP with them. I'm more of a solo player and I actively try to obtain a positive reputation on Russia. I only do horde beacons and trade items with them sometimes. So I don't really have any say in what they will or plan to do in retaliation or if they even have plans for it.

I'll pass your message along if Soul doesn't see it; but I actually think that they would rather enjoy having a group to oppose them. A member from their group was telling me how they found it boring that there wasn't enough action for him and how he wished there were more and bigger groups on the ENG/US Freezzer servers. I don't know if every member from their group feels the same way but they are quite a powerful group so I imagine that they would enjoy a challenge.

You kind of seemed to enjoy the fact that you evoked retaliation from their team yesterday, why the change of heart?

I personally don't have much of an issue with this; don't really see a problem with it. But while on the topic of texts: the server text in game could use a change. Every time I have nightvision on at night (obviously) I can't see the green text unless I look directly at the ground because the majority of the server text is green.

Right, I should have specified that I was mentioning the survival servers directly and how they have had a decrease in server resets now; I was just curious if there was a reason behind it. Or do you mean to say that there is no reason in particular behind the change and only that the Sandbox servers NEED the four resets and the survival servers do not?

This is a game wide problem tbh; there was even an update supposedly fixing the problem. Obviously it's not fixed and we'll just have to wait for Nelson to get to the bottom of the problem and fix it. It really is rather strange. I've killed Megas on the Hawaii map before and it's almost as if they were coded to drop literally only nades because that's all I ever get from them. There is honestly no point in playing Hawaii atm unless you want to get a head start on building a huge base and collecting vehicles or something. The map will be a lot more popular when the problem is fixed for real.

I was looking over the Banlist and saw that someone was banned for 20 days for an offense called "glider spam". Could someone explain what this is exactly, I've never heard of it before and I don't see anything related to this in the rules or google search.

    Thank you,
    Osephyr

Wow, you guys must have been proud and happy when you were finally done. What kind of purpose do you think this place will have? Like public docking or something?

Inb4 the sign does nothing to stop someone from raiding it. People just like to destroy things for the fun of it lol.

There is some good news after all!
If the Freezzer servers were to continue to host vehicle third person servers my vote would most definitely go to Russia since that's the map I play on the most.

I do really hope that Freezzer will show continue support for first person. I further hope that more people will come to discuss their opinion on the topic; frankly, I thought there would be more of a discussion about the switch. In any case the topic is still young.

Thank you for taking an interest

That's alarming news. Pretty sure the Hawaii servers were empty because they had/still have shit loot spawns (that's just an issue the game needs to fix). Russia, PEI, and Washington (all first person servers) seemed to have a good amount of people in it versus the other Washington map (both perspectives) which was consistently at 0 players. I feel like the focus is more on the EU and GER servers and I don't know what was happening on those servers.

I'm going to be selfish and hope the change fails so I can have my favorite servers back :(

For now I guess I'll see my fellow first person players on a different server, reluctantly.

    Hello everyone,

I recently experienced a problem with the market command. I put up the wrong item on the market and have no way to take it down; granted it really doesn't have much impact on on me but the problem really speaks to people who, in the future (assuming more people start using the market regularly), may accidentally put something up for too much or too little or the wrong item much like myself but a more important item. The issue is that there is no command to take something down but at the same time if there were then one could put the price of an item way too high and simply cancel it at a latter date (essentially free storage). Perhaps there could be a penalty to taking down an item (something high enough to stop someone from doing the above exploit but not too high - maybe a penalty that's a % of the item's marketed price?).

What does everyone think about this?

    Sinerely,
    Osephyr

I agree with you Coopah that first person (or rather vehicle third person) is superior to third person for an array of reasons (namely that it's broken, or at the very least has a long history of being broken and without a doubt will be broken once again in the future) but many people do like the feature and it's not for us to tell them that they can't enjoy freezzer servers especially since there are doubles of each official map; the more people that regularly play on freezzer the better. The way I see it it was a good change but some people got caught in the wrong server for them; for those players it seems that their options as of right now and the foreseeable future are either change to the right freezzer server for their needs and unfortunately lose some of their progress or get bad (a play on Moderator Acid's masterfully phrased answer) and continue playing on that server. Actually I'm kind of curious what your choice will be Coopah since I've already moved over to a different server (although I did find out that they switched my old favorite back to vehicle third person so that's pretty cool).

    Good luck,
    Osephyr

Likewise, I think it would be fun if there was a new map (granted I could only play it if it was hosted by the US servers; I'm looking at you Canada+) but I'm not a fan of the gun and clothing mods. I've seen many videos of the modded gun types and backpacks and frankly I think they don't have a place in unturned (both in style and in functionality).
