Looks to me like you're provoking him, and in which case you may have just stabbed yourself in the back. We won't ban someone who is being provoked, instead you might just find yourself getting punished.
Also, swearing in itself is not against the rules.
Report rejected - no action taken against the user. Note that if you carry on provoking people, you may find yourself getting punished rather than the people you are reporting.
