What are privileges do Moderators have (Unturned)? Mod abuse?

Saw a certain individual named, Jack_Meister in the Unturned Freezzer #7 Hawaii Eng/US map, with a Desert Tank in their cave, having their friends spawn at an impossible rate while raiding and running out with rocket launchers at also quite a disputable rate.

So I'd just like to know what Moderator privileges are as we are donating to the server, but will have to subside if mods are allowed to abuse rights to tip the scales to their team.

The mod (typing in orange font) originally admitted to being a mod, later denied being a mod. Also telling us to "stfu" after we questioned why he has a VAC ban on record, with the explanation that his friend was trolling and smurfing on his account (?) which still doesn't explain a VAC ban.

Let me first make one thing clear. Donators are not moderators, moderators have BLUE text. Moderators have little/no ability to abuse power since the only commands we have access to are: /kick /ban /mute /slay.

Donators can get OP kits and give them to friends if they want. They can make money much much faster and buy items like crazy. They are allowed to help their team with these abilities.

Whether he has a VAC ban or not is irrelevant to his ability to play on Freezzer servers.

Thanks, Dan. Appreciate the clarification. That's a lot more reassuring than the little bits of information I got of the forums.

Only brought up the VAC ban up to see his reaction, just made me a lot more dubious about him being a moderator.

Oh God, there are so many ignorant players (not talking about you Tim) who immediatly call out "admin abuse" etc when they die. Especially in sandbox servers, a lot of players like to say stuff like "oh u use god and vanish" when we don't even have such rights xd

I feel you, I was a long standing mod on a TTT server a ways back and me and the rest of the mods would get accused of abusing power all the time, despite only doing our jobs and playing the game fair. People would literally say we were abusing and using no clip when we were simply prop surfing XD. That's why I rarely call abuse unless I know for sure that they are, since I've been in those shoes before.

I want to clarify that. Our Moderators ONLY have access to the following commands: /ban /kick /slay and /mute. And /slay isn't just slay, it's slay + ban. They DO NOT have god mode, vanish, tp or whatever.

If only people would see this thread^ before accusing any STAFF member of admin abuse.

On Sandbox these guys die about 7-10 times in one minute and when a STAFF member kills them, they blame everything on the STAFF, and then start to swear so much when you kill them again. Which leads to a mute, and then they ask their friends to hop on and accuse that STAFF member of muting an 'innocent' player. XD
