Best mobile base vehicle for sandbox

I don't like mobile bases because if you step on one of the barricades you placed on your vehicle, your character will start rubber banding a lot, and I don't think there's a way to fix that.
Anyway, I always used an Armored Police Truck (802) when I was making mobile "stores". I doubt it's the best, but it seemed to work just fine.

Really wish there was something like Automation that let you actually drive the cars you design. All of the other games in this thread only let you build Mad Max-esque vehicles made from scrap and modular cubes and whatnot. I want to design and drive my own take on a Lamborghini or Ferrari or something.

I think mobile bases are bad idea, as Putrik said, when you walking on the items you placed on the vehicle, you start bugging a round.

Cargo truck doesn’t have the problem, since there’s a large trunk you don’t need to put plates. Plus you won’t rubberband while inside the trunk.
