Rockets......

I don't actually think that the severe lag you experience when you get rocket killed is actually server based. Either your internet connection or pc must be bad.
Other than those, you could try to avoid them.

A often Problem is that you can't avoid the Rockets ...

Your game should only crash from a rocket if you were in a vehicle at the time, and it doesn't have to be a rocket that kills you it can be anything if your vehicle blows up

If I can recall I think that that has happened to me before, but it's usually very rare and I have over 300 ping when playing

I don't think anyone uses grenades, they are worse in every way, and useless in most situations

I atually know someone who mastermized grenades, he outsmarted the whole server with jets and grenades.

If you know how grenades work, they are perfect tools to keep you alive.
