Nykorev degrades too quickly!

Hey guys,

I have noticed in my recent base raiding that the Nykorev degrades too fast for 1 drum.

After 200 bullets (1 full drum) it ends up on between 42-47% durability... which means by the end of ONLY 1 clip you are already doing less damage per shot.

I think that the durability degrades too quickly.

Obviously the Nykorev is already a powerful weapon and for many a favourite when raiding... But I think the degrade rate doesn't stop or slow raiders down - since scrap metal is so cheap and it takes no time to repair, It is merely a pointless hassle.

There are 2 questions to this post:

1- Is it possible for a server to alter the durability of individual guns?

2- If so do people think the durability should be increased?

Completely removing degradation makes survival far too easy. But it certainly needs to be tweaked.

I only know that it is possible to remove weapon degrade. I don't think that it would be possible to decrease the chance of a single weapon's degrade chance; if it is possible to tweak it would most likely be applied to all weapons. That being said it does sound like a nuisance and even though I don't use the weapon myself I would be on board with the sever tweaking degrade chances for a weapon or all weapons if need be, just so long as there still is durability enable.

How far tweaked is a good question if you want durability to be slightly less effective or almost non existent, but still there

Good question, I don't think I can answer that very well myself. I suppose I would say "moderately less effective" but that's vague. At least less effective where a full 200 clip for the nykorev doesn't render it any less than, say, 60%?

Ok, because if the durability is tweaked slightly less effective it probably won't make much of a difference. Making it moderately could make a slight difference and making a drastic change could cause a very noticeable differnece

I don't think that's a good idea. The Nykorev degrading fast is part of the game mechanics. It's like you are changing the gun's stats if you modify the degrading speed. However I don't even think that's possible.

Don't the weapon files have an editable game file with Durability? Nykorev has 0.3, I am new to servers in Unturned and don't really know how it works I specialise in tf2 and source which is far different.
