Is there anywhere you can find out for certain if someone is battle eye banned from a server? because if he was banned by BE it would happen before the staff banned him. It is an instantaneous thing. If he is not battle-eye banned (can be tested if needs be) then i think it is unfair for his appeal that we be raising it as an issue.

    Thanks,

    Dan

I am going to take my personal opinion out of this since I already gave it in the first thread (Masky 'Matthew' cheating on Washington). So for whoever makes the final decision on this ban situation, let me present the facts. At the moment this is how the case of iMasky stands:

(The examples bellow are all presented as 'evidence' during statements made by players - whether you agree with this evidence or not - some of it is arguable as to whether it is evidence at all)

Evidence proving he is the player in question:

1- "As per Pathogen's screenshot, 5 of us were teamed, along with the other two (Soul of Love and Dolphin). Dolphin and Soul were in the process of chasing down the two solo players, and we had seen Dragon previously and that was not his uniform. The uniform matched Masky, and all other players were accounted for."

Evidence against him being the player in question:

1- "They stated that I was wearing the same clothes as the hacker which was a full desert military uniform, which is how they deduced that I was the hacker."

    Main evidence supporting the ban:

[PROOF]1- Seen flying/standing/crouching/moving in the air. This was not jumping out of a vehicle and one does not simply lag up into the air. [other unlikely bugs are possible but very improbable].

    Further corroborating evidence:

1- Acquires a player spawned/bought/stolen APC in the first 18 minutes of playtime. This APC could not be unlocked when dat B0y Wond3r attempted to use a 'Stealy Wheely' on it

[PROOF]2- Comment on his steam profile saying he hacks:

    ZefStyle 12 Feb @ 3:38pm
Hacks in casaul what a pleeb

[PROOF]3- Sarcastic or not, he said in chat that he hacks in Unturned and CSGO.

    Defending argument:

1- None of this proves anything, "i don't even know how battle eye works"

2- "Why does my play time have to do with my ability to acquire an APC on a server?"

[PROOF]3- "I have no idea on how to use hacks within the game when I have both Battleye and VAC enabled"

4- He was on a silver building in seattle watching the group look up and shoot the flying player.

5- Comment on his steam profile saying he doesnt hack:

    cristian blackstro 8 hours ago
    he doesn't hack

Whatever your opinion on this case, you can not argue that these things happened, since each of these were backed up by evidence. HOWEVER these happening does NOT NECESSARILY prove that he is hacking.

Freezzer is a fair platform for gaming, and thus your appeal will be taken seriously and dealt with carefully. Whatever decision is made with this 'evidence' presented before you will be final.

    Thanks,

    Dan

I wouldn't say this video is conclusive evidence (IMO). The guy is shown in the air, however its a possibility that he could've jumped from a heli. Also, Freenex often says how there is no god mode out there because its all server-sided (I don't know all the technicalities but I know you can't change server-sided data).

I'm not calling you a liar by any means, but the evidence (again, in my opinion) is inconclusive.

I agree that the possibility of having "godmode" on servers nowadays is almost impossible, but maybe its just a case of terminology, i can think of a large number of ways that someone could THEORETICALLY alter their client side information to mimic godmode-like traits. And in terms of speculation, everything is "impossible" or "unprecedented" until it happens for the first time. And the reason why i am inclined to accept the evidence of him in the air as a "hack" is because it SEEMS like he is at the same height but in 2 different poses in the photos. The comments on his profile helped with forming this opinion.

It seems like he was banned on a different account and made a new account so that he could keep playing with hacks. AGAIN, a speculation.

    Thanks,

    Dan

Personally i think maturity is a big one. In terms of rationalising decision making and so on. He shows care in what he says, respect, clarity of thought process and explanation. His reasoning seems sound and he has obviously taken the application process seriously.

In spite of this i have to agree a little bit with Acid here: Time on Unturned is for a few reasons (some of which nobody has yet said):

1- Understanding of the game mechanics

2- Understanding of Freezzer specific commands and rules

3- Long term commitment to the game - People go through phases and play different games, they might binge it for 100 hours or more over a very short period of time, they enjoy it and want to help out in the community... BUT if they are not committed in a more permanent capacity then after a few months they will get bored and move on. NOBODY can tell if this is going to happen, even the person themselves. Which is why game-time is so important, because if you have played for a considerable amount of time it already proves to yourself and others what level of dedication you have to the game.

4- Availability (how much time of your life you can spend gaming) - shows whether playing unturned is a hobby or a pass-time. If it is a hobby you CARE about the game and the community. If it is a pass-time its purely for your personal enjoyment and entertainment.

To clarify, I am not saying that you are not dedicated or committed or caring enough about the game and Freezzer, but it is of my opinion that for your application to go through you need to put in some more hours and prove on paper that you are all of the above.

    Thanks,

    Dan

It is of my opinion that this is conclusive evidence. I am unable to get online to ban him, but this to me seems like pretty clear evidence. One of the other staff will pick up on this today and ban this user.

Thank you for your report - showing what i think to be good evidence.

    Dan

JEDOCH ... Wenns Sie die Regeln wieder brechen, you will die :D Und dauerhaft verboten werden.

Das ist meine Meinung. Sorry if i made any mistakes in my amateur German.

    Vielen Dank,
    Dan

Here are is a carefully composed list of the best and most interesting community Unturned maps. They are all decent maps, so that they will be the most fun to explore and experience. Please look carefully at each map using the steam links. I have given each person the possibility of 2 votes - So pick your favourite 2 maps. Bellow each map i have written a brief description of its style and how that affects the game play. I have tested each map myself - so for the most part they are bug free.

    Driftless: https://steamcommunity.com/sha…filedetails/?id=767265662

    SIZE: Massive

Positives - Very large map (4x Russia) each biome is massive in scale with vast spaces to build bases. Many of the built up areas are towards the centre but there is loot all around the map. Contains snow regions which affect your body temperature. Massive water expanse - people might actually use boats now! The towns and loot spots are well designed and unique.

Negatives - Very large map, pvp will be very inconsistent - could go for hours without seeing anyone else.

    Overgrown 3: https://steamcommunity.com/sha…filedetails/?id=762129312

    SIZE: Medium/Large

Positives - Decent size (between Russia and Washington). Visually stunning, the creator spent a lot of time making sure its aesthetics were perfect. It has a very good balance of loot spots / open space. Much like Russia. The areas on this map are very distinct with water features, bridges, islands, forests etc.

Negatives - The spawns aren't very noob friendly, you have to be alert from the moment you start (assuming the server is populated).

    Isle of Wolves 3: https://steamcommunity.com/sha…?id=811762511&searchtext=

    SIZE: Massive

Positives - Massive map with every possible biome. Has probably the most military bases and places of any map, and it doesn't feel overcrowded. Hugely fun to explore with a crazy amount of hidden entrances and secret spaces. Perfect balance of land with interconnected rivers.

Negatives - Much like 'Driftless' combat is inconsistent and when you die it could take you up to 20min to make it back to your items (buying a cheap vehicle will solve this).

    Chernarus: http://steamcommunity.com/shar…?id=413655981&searchtext=

    SIZE: Medium

Positives - Has a safe zone! (this is very rare in custom maps). Pretty much fully forest combat orientated. Ghille suits will actually be useful for once :D. Well balanced spawns. Good size for a pvp intensive map (good bases will probably be built inside structures - since they will be hard to hide anyway). Has some interestingly made towns and military bases.

Negatives - Visually not very interesting since it is mostly land with 1 biome.

    The Europe: http://steamcommunity.com/shar…?id=710486124&searchtext=

    SIZE: Massive

Positives - Vast open spaces to build with a large regions of water. Perfect map for those who like building a base in the middle of nowhere - or underwater bases. Has a snow biome which is always interesting. The creator has worked very hard on all of the loot spots and the entire coast is unique and interesting - well Terra-formed map (look up what that means if you don't know).

Negatives - Not very well populated with little features, so the landscape will get boring after a while. The ground is very plain.

    Damnation: http://steamcommunity.com/shar…?id=647826136&searchtext=

    SIZE: Large

Positives - Visually incredibly unique, this map is basically an entire desert with mountains and cliffs and some green areas. Brings back the drive - loot - drive feel from Washington. Well constructed locations with plenty of detail between. Good balance of rivers and land - makes for effective water transport.

Negatives - Lacks the vertical element that some enjoy, there are no real mountains.

THIS POLL WILL BE UP FOR 2 WEEKS BEFORE CLOSING.

The final numbers will be taken when it closes.

May the odds be ever in your favour :D

    Thanks,

    Dan

unfortunately this is a mechanic more than an exploit. Keeping vehicles safe in the "safe zone" should not be taken for granted. It is purposely designed so that the liberator doesn't get swamped by vehicles with no way of getting rid of them. Long story shot, there is no way of keeping your vehicles 100% safe anywhere on the map.

    Thanks,

    Dan

I have been testing out a few community maps lately, Isle of wolves II for instance, Chernarus, and many others.

Some of these have massive potential in terms of play-style and visual appeal.

Along side these community maps there are some well tested mods out there, some small and specific, others huge and game changing.

More gun types, vehicles, clothes, etc.

Im not suggesting we send freezzer down the path of many mods, not in the slightest. freezzer has a very sensible balance between vanilla and utility mods.

HOWEVER, it could be a good idea to have 1 test server with a combination of either a community map with no mods, or a stock map with community mods,

    or both.

Either way, what do you guys think?

    Thanks,

    Dan

Acid That's Wrong?(. We're both the Owners of all Freezzer Servers. Freezzer is a name created by Freenex and me, a few Years ago. There is a funny story about the naming.

    Back to Topic:

We're already looking for a good server for us. Don't worry! We'll inform you all, if we found a good Server.

Do i need to create a new thread to hear this story? :P

    Thanks,

    Dan

There are already 2 threads about the [?] bug, please read them through since the bug and its implications are explained and discussed there. If you have any comments please post them there.

    Thanks,
